CSA: Community Supported Agriculture
Updated: Oct 4, 2018
Community supported agriculture is a great way to support local farmers and get your food straight from the source to your table. Most CSA's are a pledge or donation direct to the farmer for a stake in the farm's harvest for the year or season. This cuts out the "middle man" that up the price of the produce once it is in the market.

What Members get?
Most CSA members will get a choice of produce, meats, and dairy available from the farm. The boxes can usually be picked up at a central location or directly from the farm on a monthly or weekly schedule. As a member, most farmers encourage you to visit the farm and see how the farm is operated.
